The successful candidates will be able to cover breaking news across all categories of news.

These are remote positions and reports to our Washington, DC office, applicants anywhere in the world are encouraged to apply.
Compensation
Freelance compensation rates for the Correspondent / Reporter positions vary based on the applicant’s country of residence, and the nature of each assignment.

Using the online application here, tell us about you – who you are, where you are, about your news background, what you’d ideally like to cover.
If a staffing team member believes you might be a good match for the Correspondent / Reporter talent pool they will reach out to you and you’ll enter our evaluation process. A complete profile is very important to this step of the process.
We assess candidates in our hiring process using a variety of ways: brief virtual chats, online assessments, in-depth interviews, and project work or skills assessment.
After your assessments and interviews are done, our team will review and discuss your application and interviews and potentially offer a freelance contract.
